Live Music & The Seacoast!

Going stir crazy with this chilly weather and want something to do? There are several exciting musical events taking place this weekend in Dover and Newmarket.

To kick of this weekend, Gnarlemagne, a funk-rock outfit with raucously uptempo beats, will be performing with Mellow Bravo at The Stone Church on Zion Hill (Newmarket, NH). Gnarlemagne consists of friends Stu, Jeff, Koof, Ian, and Al who began playing together in 2006. Their sound is peppered with tenacious horn lines and bodacious sounds that one can't help but get up and dance to.

The show begins at 9:00pm and will run until 12:00am. Tickets are $5 for 21+ and $10/18+.

If you couldn't make tonight's show at The Stone Church, no worries!
Saturday, Superfrog will be playing live at The Barley Pub (Dover, NH). Matt Kanner of The Wire explains that "From the get-go 'Year of the Frog' is rife with bouncy, funky rhythms that stand up with the best of the nation's many aspiring jam bands."

The show starts at 9:00pm and ends at 12:30am (*Cash Only).

One final show available for your listening pleasure is the musical stylings of Yarn, again at the The Stone Church on Zion Hill (Newmarket, NH). Tickets are $5 per person,  beginning at 9:00pm and ending at 12:00am.

From Examiner.com to This!!!

Hello friends and fellow Bloggers and Welcome to Jenny's Daily BlogSpot!

In August of 2010, I began writing articles for Examiner.com which is an online site dedicated to news and insider sources for over 25 different categories. It is supposedly a site to "Build Your Online Brand!", "Earn Extra Income!", etc. You might have seen a few of my personal restaurant reviews/commentaries scoot by in the News Feed on Facebook.

Although it did allow me to write about some neat places and publish some great articles, the topic scope was poor, the publishing tool was a joke, and let me tell you… the income portion was severely lacking. But in all seriousness, my articles and blogs have never been motivated by money. In fact, I really just like the idea of publishing cool $h!t that I feel people should know about. Honestly, my articles will probably have a wide range of topics from restaurants to live music to reality TV.

I'll be honest…
I'll keep it real…
I'll give you a daily dose of SOMETHING, whatever that something may be.

Feel free to contact me via e-mail if you have a topic you want me to blog about.
I'll keep an open mind for you ;)
